CFISD Athletes Sign Letters Of Intent During 2017 Late Signing Period

Student athletes from nine CFISD high schools celebrated the transition from high school to collegiate athletics during late-period signing ceremonies in May and June.

The students, joined by coaches, administrators, family and friends, signed National Letters of Intent to various universities and community colleges.

The following athletes signed letters of intent:

Cy-Fair High School: Dylan Higgins, football – Millsaps College; and Mikayla De Los Santos, softball – Trinity Valley Community College.

Cypress Creek High School: Tyler Erickson, baseball – Centenary College; Davon Berry, men’s basketball – Richland College; Mike Kayira, men’s basketball – Beloit College; Jared Wallace, men’s swimming and diving – University of the Incarnate Word; Zac Hawes, men’s swimming and diving – Oklahoma Christian University; Caleb Horn, football – Texas Lutheran University; DaKwa Davis, football – Texas Lutheran University; Tyler Daughtry, football – Coe College; and Michael Campbell, men’s track and field – Odessa College.

Cypress Falls High School: Gavin Ceballos, baseball – Odessa College; Daeja Monroe, women’s basketball – Rainey River Community College; Jessica Grimes, women’s soccer – Angelina College; Francisco Rodriguez, men’s soccer – Murray State University; Christian Paz, men’s soccer – University of Texas-Tyler; Bayli Luke, women’s soccer and track and field – Concordia University; Kara Fucci, softball – Prairie View A&M University; Bryanna Novegil, softball – Stephen F. Austin State University; Nathan Wuellner, men’s swimming and diving – Ouachita Baptist University; Rylee Braeden, women’s tennis – Eastern Washington University; Jean Jenkins, women’s track and field – Texas A&M University; Devall Harris, men’s track and field – University of Texas-San Antonio; Alexis Dunn, women’s track and field – Mississippi College; and Jesenia Colbert, women’s volleyball – Marshalltown Community College.
